Welcome to the Department of Economics! We have  undergraduate students and strong programmes at both the M.Sc. and Ph.D.  levels. We teach in all areas of economics. We have tenue academic Staff and a number of visiting Professors, most of whom have been with us for years. We expect hiring more tenue academic staff in the next years. Our Department is committed to inspiring and training the future academics, government and industry leaders. The strengths of our Department include microeconomic and macroeconomic theories, econometrics, finance, monetary economics, international economics, environmental economics, health economics, and development economics.
