The Physical Planning & Development Unit (PPDU) plays a vital role in the transformation and growth of the university’s physical environment. As a key engine behind campus infrastructure, PPDU is tasked with the planning, design, and execution of all construction and infrastructural development projects within the university.
Through strategic development and meticulous planning, the unit ensures that all physical facilities are not only functional but also aligned with the university’s long-term vision of creating a modern, safe, and sustainable academic environment.
Our Role
The Physical Planning & Development Unit is responsible for:
Master Planning of the campus layout, including zoning, landscaping, and future expansion.
Design and Supervision of new buildings and facilities—academic blocks, lecture halls, laboratories, staff offices, student hostels, and more.
Renovation and Maintenance Oversight of existing structures to ensure functionality, safety, and aesthetics.
Quality Control and Project Monitoring to ensure compliance with approved standards, timelines, and budgets.
Documentation and Record-Keeping for all physical development plans and architectural designs.
