At Adamawa State University (ADSU), the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Centre serves as the technological backbone, propelling the institution into the digital age. Established to enhance teaching, learning, research, and administrative efficiency, the ICT Centre is pivotal in actualizing ADSU’s motto: “Education for Development.”
Organizational Structure
The ICT Centre comprises four specialized sub-units, each dedicated to specific aspects of ICT services:

Network and Infrastructure Unit
Manages the university’s network systems, ensuring reliable internet connectivity and maintenance of hardware infrastructure.

Software Development and Maintenance Unit
Develops and maintains software applications tailored to the university’s needs, including student portals and administrative systems.

Technical Support and Training Unit
Provides technical assistance to users and conducts training sessions to improve ICT proficiency among staff and students.

Research and Development Unit
Explores emerging technologies to innovate and enhance the university’s ICT capabilities.
