His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, serves as the Visitor to Adamawa State University, Mubi. In this esteemed role, he provides strategic oversight and ceremonial leadership, ensuring that the university aligns with the broader educational and developmental objectives of Adamawa State.

As the Visitor, His Excellency’s responsibilities include:

Born on October 27, 1967, in Madagali, Adamawa State, Governor Fintiri has a rich political background. He served as the Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly and held the position of Acting Governor in 2014. Elected as the Executive Governor in 2019, he was re-elected in 2023, reflecting the trust and confidence the people of Adamawa State place in his leadership.

Governor Fintiri’s administration is marked by a commitment to youth empowerment, digital innovation, and infrastructural development. His support for higher education underscores his dedication to nurturing a knowledgeable and skilled populace, essential for the state’s progress.

His Royal Highness, Alhaji Muhammad Seyoji Ahmad, the Emir of Pindiga, graciously serves as the Chancellor of Adamawa State University, Mubi. As Chancellor, His Royal Highness plays an important ceremonial and symbolic role, which includes:

Mohammed Yusuf Pahuwa serves as the Bursar of Adamawa State University, Mubi, overseeing the financial operations and ensuring the prudent management of the University’s resources. University Librarian

Dr. Musa Dauda Bassi serves as the University Librarian of Adamawa State University, Mubi. He is responsible for overseeing the management and development of the University’s library resources, ensuring they meet the academic and research needs of students, staff, and faculty members.

With a strong background in library and information science, Dr. Bassi is committed to expanding access to knowledge through modern library services, digital resources, and innovative learning support. He leads efforts to continuously improve collections, maintain effective cataloguing systems, and create a conducive environment for academic exploration.

His vision is to make the University Library a vibrant, technology-driven center that supports the University’s mission of “Education for Development.
