15TH – 17TH CONVOCATION CEREMONY 2022/2023, 2023/2024 AND 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSIONS
NOTICE TO ALL GRADUATED STUDENTS
The Management of Adamawa State University, Mubi, wishes to announce that the 15th, 16th & 17th Convocation Ceremony is scheduled to hold from 31st October to 1st November, 2025.
Consequently, all graduating students for the said academic sessions are to take note of the following information for necessary action:
1. The Convocation Ceremony is for graduands of the 2022/2023, 2023/2024, and 2024/2025 Academic Sessions only. All concerned are advised to check the University website for the full list and other vital information regarding the ceremony. 2. Convocation Fee: All convoking graduands are to pay the certificate fee according to their status as follows:
i. | First Degree Holders | ₦ 15,000.00 only |
ii. | Post Graduate Diploma Holders | ₦ 20,000.00 only |
iii. | Masters Degree Holders | ₦ 25,000.00 only |
iv. | Ph.D Holders | ₦ 35,000.00 only |
v. | Alumni Fee | ₦ 3,500.00 only |
All payments for certificates are to be made through the following account: Account Name: ADSU, Mubi; Account No.: 0004731731, Unity Bank. However, payment for the Alumni membership fee of Three Thousand Five Hundred Naira (₦3,500) is payable through Account Name: ADSU, Mubi; Account No.: 0015867872, Unity Bank.
4. Alumni Membership:
Registration for Alumni membership will commence on Friday, 31st October, 2025 at the Academic Division, Adamawa State University, Mubi.
5. Issuance of Convocation Gowns:
- Issuance of academic gowns will commence on 30th October, 2025, at the respective faculty offices from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm, on a first-come, first-served basis, and upon presentation of evidence of being a graduate within the specified period of the convocation.
- Academic gowns are available for sale to Ph.D. graduands at the rate of Fifty Thousand Naira (₦50,000) only. (Please note that this is not included in the convocation fee.) All Ph.D. graduands are encouraged to purchase the gown for personal use and as a mark of identification with Adamawa State University, Mubi. Please note that payment of the Alumni fee is mandatory for all graduands of the 15th–17th Convocation.
6. Presentation of Evidence of Payment
All graduands are to present verified receipts for the above payments before collecting their certificates.
7. Return of Academic Gowns:
All gowns are to be returned on or before Wednesday, 5th November, 2025; otherwise, a penalty of ₦5,000 per day for non-return will apply.
8. Distribution of Certificates:
Distribution of certificates will commence on Monday, 3rd November, 2025, at the Academic Division upon presentation of the following items before collection:
- Original Statement of Result
- School ID Card
- National ID Card
- Copy of O’ Level Certificate
- Evidence of alumni registration/membership.
- Copy of convocation fee receipt.
9. Other Matters:
- All graduands are expected to attend the Convocation Lecture scheduled to hold on Friday, 31st October, 2025, by 2:00 pm, at the Adamawa State University Jikamana Conference Hall, ADSU Mubi Guest Inn, Garden City, Mubi.
- Only graduands who are appropriately dressed in their respective faculty gowns will be allowed to participate in the procession and be admitted to the Convocation Ground.
